I am an avid People reader which I will say without apologies. I look forward to reading them with a coffee in our Barnes and Nobles on the weekend ( along with Real Simple and The O magazine I might add.) It is a break from everything else.
So this week, two Hollywood related events to share. I was extremely disappointed to see Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow are over. Did I expect it to last? I think I had disillusioned myself to saying yes. I had seen some interviews and after my parents bought me the new Sheryl Crow CD for my birthday I have renewed my love of her making her one of my top choices right now. Stephen can attest to this as everything he goes into the car she is playing. He likes her but I may have gone to far because now he will sneak something else in every time.
Second, I have just been on the Oprah website and I watched some of the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill interview and I must say that I again really enjoyed their music, particularly when they sung "Let's Make Love" which I believe they won a joint Grammy for. (no wonder either...) I have dabbled in Faith Hill through the last couple of years but I may make the next move and actually buy a CD. I hope they are for real in their relationship.
On a side note, I had parent conferences that last two days. Each family gets an hour so despite only having 11 kids that equals to 11 hours of interviews which is tiring. However, they honestly went so amazingly well. I could not have asked for better. Go figure.

Amber, I just found out about Lance and Sheryl. I thought they were a for sure thing but hey i guess we all will just have to move on.
Well count down is on in a week from today i will be sitting in your living room!
I'll also admit I love People magazine. And after reading your post I want to go sit in Chapters and just read hollywood gossip magazines (with a good cup of Joe, of course).
That's awesome about interviews - an hour each!!!??? Crazy!
And finally, I have faith in Tim and Faith. I think they're for real. I think they'll be the exception to everyone else in Hollywood because it seems their Christian faith is real - or as real as I can see. Only God knows, I suppose.
Amber...I'm a fan of People magazine too...although I always feel a little strange as I find myself sucked into the lives of strangers. I'm still fascinated by the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt/Jennifer Ansiton stories..who knows why.
As for Lance and Sheryl, I have to be a little contraversal; I was always hoping he'd go back to his wife that stood by him through his cancer years..I wasn't a fan of Sheryl (although I do love her music).
Anyways, I hope all is well with you and Stephen! Talk to you later!
Hey Amber, I had no clue about Lance and Sheryl. And I must say that I too, am an avid People reader. Love it.

Kylie got a subscription to people magazine for Christmas from her grandparents and I believe Marc was more excited than she was...now she wouldn't have to buy it all the time! By the way, did you know those knobs have a blog and they were having a "contest" to see who would find it first? You can find the link to it on my blog if you want to check it out. I know they read yours all the time and Marc made a hilarious response to your "does the pick turn into a chew" comment on my blog. I don't know why I love those celeb magazines so much. I always talk about how they should be left alone because they're real people too but then there I am, right in the thick of things when there's something juicy going on.
