Back from Paris

We have arrived back to Lethbridge from Paris and it is hard to know where to start to summarise our Paris adventure. As we travelled back on the airplane yesterday, I wrote a little day by day run down in a kids book I had bought in Paris ( Madeline for those familiar with picture books) and I realised how much we had done yet we really felt like we just skimmed the surface of the city and could go back and do so much more. I am having trouble getting pictures posted on this computer so those will hopefully come later.

Some highlights include spending time in the numerous art galleries that included some of my all time favourite impressionist art, going to see Monet's gardens which included a brilliant lily pad pond, visiting numerous churches including Notre Dame of Chartes which is bigger then the one in Paris and contains the largest amount of preserved Medieval stain glass, and taking a river tour on the Seine River. We were able to participate in the huge massive night rollerblade which resembled a really fast cattle drive of over 5000 people with a half time show experience a view from the Eiffel tower at night, and crack the Da Vinci code ( just kidding, but it is really big in Paris right now)

I will highlight some more events through pictures to come but we are excited to be back with family and get ready for the wedding.
