Pumpkin Carving

The traditional carving of the pumpkin begins...
Sam gets involved...more interested in the twirly piece on the top then anything else.

Stephen carving. Sorry he is sideways and blurry but you get the idea.

I am attempting the carve. Stephen drew the picture...two artsy people holding hands under the starts and crescent shaped moon with their cat.

The finished project that I love. There are stars on the top that shoot onto the ceiling when lit.

Very fun! I think you and Stephen should challenge Carlynne to a pumpkin carving competition.

All credit to Stephen.

Funny story. We once went to a halloween party at people we didn't really know. We are given a pumpkin and told to carve and it will be judged. Stephen and I whip off a Batman symbol in about 5 minutes. The rest of the people ended up taking over an hour and were so original and amazing that ours looked like a grade 1 had done it. Perhaps we are getting better.

Does Stephen look like he has a mangled, bloody neck?

This art teacher gives you an A+ even despite the mangled neck.

I love the pumpkin...great job!

On a side note, I'm watching the re-run of the first Gilmore Girls from this season...and I feel like I'm converted back to Luke. Old faithful Luke. He really is a good guy.
