If you came over to our house tonight...

If you came over to our house tonight...

* I would make you lasanga because I can make this amazing lasanga. It has been a process of just adding things at whim but I have the simplest, best recipe. We made it tonight and I would give you some.

* You would hear Christmas music blaring upstairs because despite our busy working ( in fact, we really couldn't talk to you a lot because we both have papers to write), we have the Christmas music blaring and are getting extremely pumped for the holidays to begin. Downstairs you could watch Lord of the Rings as Stephen has it playing continuously while he writes.

* I would tell you this story about how we went to see a basketball game on Wednesday night and the atmosphere was electric and our team won by 52 points and it was amazing. However, then we got back into the car and started listening to the radio broadcast of the highlights. The broadcaster ended his show by saying..."And that is another night of basketball folks. Remember, keep your head up, be vigilant, and God bless America." To this, Stephen and I burst into laughter as we tried to figure out why we were being vigilant.

* I would tell you that my eyes are almost completely healed and that I feel extremely blessed by how that situation turned out

* I would show you how Sam is really into this game called "Wild Cat" where he madly chases you up the stairs and tries to bite your heals. I would get you to try it in the pitch black as this is what often happens at night.

I really do wish that some of you could come over tonight.
