Not to say that life has not had it up moments since the last entry. These include but are not limited to my first experience with Tibetan food, the watching of Season 5 of 24 in anticipation for the new season starting, some fun times with friends, an amazing meal where we used the gift certificate that I received for eating raw chicken there last time ( could of blogged about that), and some great basketball.
I have also started my grad class on teaching social skills, which looks great so far. I am getting to know some of the people and many took the lasst class I was in which is fun. I also feel like this is an area I really need to learn more about. I am reading a book right now for fun called. "It Is So Much Work To Be Your Friend." Really interesting if you want a nonfiction read.

But atlas, the reason that I have officially been pulled from my blogging lull is that facts that my beautiful sister in law and her very nice boyfriend had posted pictures of themselves on his blog. It made me Chryslyn and I want to keep in contact better. So, I am stealing a photo and will write again soon.

Hey Amber! Great to see you back! Darcen and I were just talking about you and Stephen last night and how we need to give you guys a call. Are you around tonight?
Oh and I thought you would be interested to know that the author of "Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures" is at the U of A at this exact moment two doors down from me speaking about this book! With booksigning afterwards. I was deep into studying and didn't even know he was here until I heard some commotion in the hallway. I will poke my head in for you. :) Talk to you soon!
Hey Amber! Nice to see that you are back in the blogging world. I hope things aren't too crazy hectic and you have a chance to have alot of fun that does not include eating raw chicken. Take care and luv ya!
Chryslyn
okay so I do NOT know who maddie is and I am really not her!
umm..Maddie? Weird. Chryslyn is this your hidden identity or pseudonym?
Talk to you soon!
I still remember the videos we watched at university by Richard Lavoie... I loved them! So if that book is anything like the videos, I might have to check it out. Have you ever heard of the book "Jarvis Clutch: Social Spy" (I believe it is by Mel Levine). It's a fiction book to be used in an educational or home situation to help teach kids how to act in social situations (especially those with Aspergers and Autism who need to be taught these skills). If you haven't already, you should check it out. Great to hear from you again!
Your back.....YEAH! Very cute couple those two make. I'm glad you are finding time to do fun things like eat well cooked chicken and watch basketball (the Hoosiers, I'm assuming). Oh, and reading yet another book.....I am always amazed at how many books you read. I admire you for that.
Hey Amber,
I thought I would comment since we discussed the fact that we read eachother's blogs, but don't comment.
I will have to check out that book. It looks like it could have some valuable ideas in it. And I am jealous of the class you are taking...it sounds right up my alley. So anytime you learn something interesting in it let me know!
