It is my husband's birthday tomorrow. We are off to a State Park where we will cuddle, sit in the hot tub, and go for as long of a hike and bird watching expedition with his new binoculars as Stephen wants. It is a beautiful spot and I am excited to go.
Stephen will turn 27 tomorrow and I must go on the record here to say how proud of him and how much I love this guy. I am excited for all the opportunities he has ( for example, he has 100 percent sure as of yesterday been accepted to speak at a conference in Paris in June), I am proud of his talents (so, so smart), I am in awe of the way he can present and argue ideas in one breath and then make friends with random people in the next ( He was invited to go mushroom hunting with a person he just met at Barnes and Noble on Monday...mushroom, as in the ones you eat, are really big here). He is beautiful and sincere, extremely caring, and just a wonderful friend and lover. Sometimes I shake my head at how blessed I am to be part of his life.
