I came home today and honestly got such a rush of adrenaline when I sat down at the computer and found Jenessa had commented on my blog and that she has created a blog for for a Julian. Check it out at http://jenessaandjulian.blogspot.com/
Julian and Jenessa are truly what I what call "kindred spirits." Stephen and I would consider them our closest friends and we honestly yearn for them here in Indiana. We have chosen surprising close professional goals to each other, have very similar backgrounds, and got married within two weeks of each other. They are amazing! Great people to say the least...we are crossing our fingers that if a PhD is in the cards for Julian and that it will bring them somewhat closer to us.
So, I am searching for pictures of them to upload and the only one I can find within the two minutes of looking is this one of Julian when we were camping this last summer. My Dad took it at Susan's baptism and then made it black and white as he thought it represented the contemplative, philosophical Julian. I am giggling right now because it totally looks posed and modelish but I think it was a genuine "I'm thinking" moment that just got caught on film. I need to find one of Jenessa now or better, together.

The picture was shocking, to say the least. I think your dad must have done more doctoring than simply the black-and-white transformation, because we all know my legs haven't looked that smooth since kindergarten. IT LOOKS SOOO POSED!!! However, it does bring back some great memories from the Cyprus Hills. Reading your entry reminded us how much we miss you and made us look forward even more to the summer ahead. We've been hashing out a lot of ideas for it that we need to talk to you about soon.
I came on the blog this morning and as soon as my blog opened I started giggling again. It is not that you don't look great...you do, but you are right, it just looks so posed. You can find a bad picture of me and post it if you want revenge.
Look forward to hearing the summer plans...do not include Paris?
o.k just to clarify...my legs are smooth and Julian wrort the comment using my log on name. Oops. As we all know Julian is the "grizzlybear", not me.
