Indiana is Growing On Me

Here are some pictures of Stephen and I's walk early Sunday morning. It was beautifully calm and foggy. This is a small city park that we have just discovered and you can rent canoes later in the season which will be a must for us. It was ironic that is was so calm and beautiful this certain morning because that Sunday night a fierce storm ripped through the Midwest, including Indiana. Though I have not heard of anyone being killed here, I think 27 people died due to it and there is quite a bit of damage all over. It makes us who are not used to it almost awe struck at the power of weather. The entire sky above our house was a dazzling display if lightening and the wind would begin and then stop, begin and then stop. The ol' slogan if " If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes" takes on a new meaning here. However, I would say that in the last few weeks Indiana has really grown on me and I am starting to feel like it is home.

I enjoyed reading your blog. I bet Indiana has some really beautiful places to take pics of. I hope you post more since I'm in Alabama and have never been to Indiana!

I'm glad your settling in there. I feel the same about Edmonton. I now feel like it's my community...plus the shopping is great!
