My Classroom

We have found our digital camera after weeks of searching and coming to the (wrong) conclusion that it had been dropped in a river. Instead it was safely tucked away. I went to the school today to get ready for the week and decided to take some pictures. For those of you who saw my classroom before, you will see the amazing improvements. I wish I had some "before" the makeover pictures. Very secial thanks again to Stephen and Jenessa who assisted in the major painting and carpeting projects.

Above is my reading corner.

This is a view of my room from one end. I usually teach from this end and so you are getting the view that I see everyday. These are new desks which I really like.

This is my desk. I believe we are getting flat screen monitors soon and they are black. Please note the coffee which is a staple.

Another view of the desks and one out of three of the really nice big windows I have in my room. A future project will be better curtains.

And finally, a project that my class just did. We are studying Brazil and these are the masks that they made.
