A few things that are new with us...
We had our mail held when we were gone and so when we got back, we had a huge amount of mail to open including some great Christmas cards. We know have a picture of Jen and Kevin, Christine and Brad, Joanna and Kevin, and Jill and Luke on our fridge. We heard from great friends and even my beloved teacher mentor from BC. I did not send out anything this year but this outpouring of love may motivate me for next year...or maybe a spontaneous letter...does this really only need to happen at Christmas?
I am in the middle of a great book right now that I got from Chryslyn for my birthday. It is called Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures and I am really enjoying it so far. It is Canadian, which is great, and I also think of Chryslyn in the nursing program so that is cool. The chapters are all connected somehow but it sometimes takes you a few chapters after to realize how.
Other items of enjoyment include two pieces of clothing I received over the holiday that are from the Gap Red line. This is a line of products that promise to give 50% of the purchase price to AIDS in Africa. The clothing is really good plus it gives wearing it an extra bonus. Enjoying clothing with a message.
Lastly, we have started to watch the seventh season of West Wing. It has been out for a while but we have not had the time so we are excited to be able to slowly get into it. I always want to be CJ after seeing this season.

So we have already seen the entire first season of Arrested Development..and loved it!! Great gift you guys, we are already thinking about buying season 2! :)
P.S. Tibias is my favourite...well, and "Gob." The themes they come up with on the show for those two are hilarious.
I started that book... but wasn't that impressed... does it get better after the first few chapters?
